My fee structure recognises that some couples really want to be married with NO actual ceremony while others do wish to include some elements, and invite some special people to bear witness.

BOOKING FEE FOR ALL CEREMONIES - $350*

  • non-refundable and separate to the ceremony fee;

  • reserves the date for you and prompts me to create the booking and get your marriage paperwork underway;

  • you will receive a hyper-link to complete ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ - which must be done at least one month prior to proposed date of the marriage - and we will meet either f2f or virtually to get your signatures down, and the form ‘lodged’;

SHORT & SWEET ‘LEGALS ONLY’ - $400

  • just yourselves and two witnesses (does not apply when guest list exceeds the two mandatory witnesses);

  • all the paperwork is handled online starting with a link I send to you;

  • we get you married over a coffee (or bubbles) at your place or mine;

  • you may write your own vows in addition to legally required ones;

  • definitely no over-thinking required - we get straight to what is legally required to get you hitched, with NO fluff, back story or ‘personalistion’!

BESPOKE MICRO CEREMONY - $550*

  • you will have a ‘posse’ of your nearest and dearest there to support you and share the fun;

  • paperwork is commenced with an online link and it’s your call whether we hold Zoom or F2F meetings;

  • the ceremony will be totally personalised by me to reflect your story and you will see the ceremony prior and provide feedback, request changes etc;

  • you have full access to my website based planner and ‘Fifty Ceremony Vows’;

  • ceremony at your choice of location in the greater Hobart area (travel fee applies for locations beyond 25 kms from CBD).

Why does your marriage fee include a ‘non refundable’ fee of $350 at the time of booking. Celebrants start working on a marriage the minute the relationship with a couple commences and time is devoted to communicating via phone and email, meetings, preparing paperwork, blocking they date so others cannot book it, and starting to craft a ceremony. Approximately 40% of the work is in the preparation, 40% ‘on the day’, and a further 20% after the event when the paperwork must be triple checked, marriage certificates scanned and all the information from the official forms entered into a government database and submitted for registration.
